Hi, I'm Lori

Licensed Massage Therapist, now certified in The Vodder Technique of Lymphatic Massage as well as Post-Surgery Lymphatic Massage.

I know first-hand that being active and athletic often comes with some physical pain and discomfort. For over 20 years, I have helped people experience renewed vitality and blissful relaxation with deep tissue and Swedish massage—and in recent years, lymphatic drainage massage.

I have been practicing massage therapy for over 20 years. I have worked at several spas in Steamboat Springs, as well as managing a thriving private practice.

I live in Steamboat Springs with my husband and daughter, and I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding in the beautiful town we call home.

I pride myself on listening to my clients and catering the massage to their needs.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

A lymphatic drainage massage uses very light pressure and long, rhythmic strokes that help your lymph fluid move and direct toxins to your larger organs to remove the waste. It's benefits include reducing stress and fatigue; it speeds up up healing and recovery (especially after exercise); boosts immunity; and many other benefits. Swedish Massage

Both energizing and relaxing. Long kneading strokes loosen tight muscles, calm the nervous system, and promote circulation and healing.

Deep Tissue

Helps to treat issues such as muscle strains and sports injuries. It consists of slow, intense strokes that target deep into the muscle layers and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue as well as to reduce muscle tension.

Facial Cupping

Facial cupping is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses small suction cups to promote lymphatic drainage, enhance circulation, and stimulate collagen production.

Similar to the manual lymphatic techniques I incorporate, facial cupping helps reduce puffiness, relieve muscle tension by lifting and mobilizing the fascia, and soften the appearance of fine lines. This treatment can also support sinus drainage, leaving you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

I can add Facial Cupping into your 90 minute massage time, or you can choose it as an add-on for a one hour massage.

Cupping

An ancient therapy originating in China. It is used to promote blood flow and circulation, which in turn promotes healing. A silicone cup suctions onto an area of skin. It might stay there, acting as Trigger Point Therapy, or it might be glided over muscles, acting as a deep tissue massage.
